Gladiolus Learning and Development Center is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Volunteer hours are flexible.
Please find below GLAD’s volunteer application, affidavit, service opportunities and rules of conduct you’ll need to be aware of before starting volunteer service at our childcare center.
First-time volunteers need to fill out the volunteer application and affidavit, as well as read and agree to the rules of conduct when working with our children. Please bring these items in along with your valid photo identification on your first day. We’ll give you a tour of the center and answer any questions you might have.
We’re looking forward to meeting you!
Note to Volunteers

Dress conservatively on campus, no revealing clothing, offensive language or displays of alcohol/tobacco/profanity are allowed. Closed-toe flat shoes must be worn.
We ask that volunteers refrain from using cell phones in the classrooms or while on the playground. Our children need your full attention!
